BIG GROUP DISCUSSIONS
Adoptee Solidarity Korea (ASK) coordinates monthly discussions between adoptees and single mothers. There are two types of discussions, Big Group Discussions and Small Group Discussions.
The main purpose of the Big Group Discussions is to facilitate dialog between adoptees and birthmothers in a safe environment. Adoptees are encouraged to share their stories about growing up in their respective countries. Birthmothers ask many questions about adoptees’ experiences, and the adoptees are also encouraged to ask the birthmothers questions. Two or three adoptees speak per discussion. Most of the birthmothers are in the decision-making stage about whether they are going to keep their baby, or give them up for adoption, domestic or international.

ASK Newsletter 2008.03.24
We're proud to announce the publication of our first newsletter!
The purpose of the newsletter is to give updates on steering committee meetings, forums, and upcoming events, and highlight specific adoptee-related issues in the news.
Subsequent editions will be posted here, on the website, or delivered to your mailbox. To get on the mailing list, send an email to [email protected].
If you are moving or just spring cleaning and have extra things you'd like to donate-
please consider giving them to Aeranwon.   Aerawon, a home for single mothers deciding about the future of their children, gives the donations to woman in need.
If you could drop off your donations at Aeranwon it would be great.  But if you have a lot to donate, they could possibly set up a pick up time.
